Barrington Village is located 40 miles West of Chicago with a population of 10,168 residents. It is part of the 90-sq. miles Barrington area that comprises 7 independent villages with more than 40,000 residents. There are 11 Commissions within the Village Board. All are unpaid appointees and serve as volunteer citizens.
