Cuba Township encompasses the Village of North Barrington and surrounding areas. It provides many services and cooperates with entities within the Township for the benefit of its population.

The township has four trustees elected to four-year terms. Along with the Supervisor, they comprise the Town Board.
Each board member, including the Supervisor, has one vote. The Town Board is the legislative branch of the Township, establishing policy for the Township to follow. The trustees are responsible for certifying tax levies for the township and road district. They are also responsible for approving all town expenses.

Cuba Township Board Meetings
The Cuba Township Board meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm at Cuba Township hall located at 28000 West Cuba Road, Barrington, IL
